PetroChina Canada is an integrated oil and gas company with operations in Alberta and British Columbia. They send out numerous holiday cards to their clients and each year since 2018 I've worked with them to create a special holiday illustration.
I was approached to create a semi-custom holiday greeting card using one my panda illustrations because PetroChina Canada is also a sponsor for the Calgary Zoo's Panda Passage Edu-Trek. With that in mind, I updated a holiday panda illustration from my collection to be inline with their brand's guideline. Small touches of their brand colours and additional elements help tie the illustration together.
After 2018, I was enlisted to create a holiday illustration for e-card delivery. The sponsorship with the Calgary Zoo changed in 2020 and I was given the opportunity to create a brand new, exclusive illustration of snow leopards for the client.
