When you get to collaborate with a local Edmonton business owner to bring their dreams to life, it means so much. I was entrusted to illustrate and design a limited edition box for enamel pins. This first one was the Edmonton themed holiday Advent Calendar. The second was a Mystery Pin box.
Each box is unique in itself based on the concept. I wanted to illustrate the Edmonton Advent Calendar with a wintery theme and have the illustration stand out in and amongst very classic calendar box designs. Using some of the famous Edmonton landmarks and knowing each pin in the box was designed by 12 local Alberta artists made it a very worthwhile project.
The Mystery 12 Pin Box was a bit different. With no numbers, the box can be used year round to showcase 12 different local artists. Inside and out, this illustration and design is wacky, fun and representative of Majesty and Friend's character and personality.
